Return and Refund Policy


COMMISSIONED AND/OR PURCHASED ARTWORK


You have seven (7) business days from receipt of the artwork to return it in its original package if the original artwork doesn't meet your satisfaction. Unfortunately, after seven (7) days no refunds or exchanges will be issued. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase will be required. All returned artwork is to be shipped out by the buyer within three (3) days after confirming with the artist Erica Purnell that the work will be returned. To avoid accidentally damaging your edition, for example if a work is unframed, leave all unpacking and handling of the artwork to a trusted professional framer or art handler. Contact us for local recommendations in your area


**DO NOT SHIP THE ARTWORK BACK BEFORE CONTACTING US .**


 If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 3 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. (Some exceptions will apply. Please contact for an assessment of your specific situation.)


How to Return an Original, Undamaged Work:


  1. Within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date, please contact us your order information and the reason for wanting to return the work.  
  2. Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing similar acid free packaging materials to send the artwork back safely and securely to the artist. Please contact for advice and local recommendations. 
  3. Contact the artist Erica Purnell to complete the return process.  Once the piece safely reaches the artist, your return will be processed and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment in the same currency (minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any). Damaged art work caused by improper packaging will not be refunded.  Additional shipping fees may apply for international returns.      


What to Do If the Artwork Arrives Damaged:  


  1. Take photos of damaged artwork and packaging immediately! If you notice any serious damage to the outside of the package please do not sign for the delivery and contact us right away.
  2. Within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date, please contact the artist Erica Purnell and give your order information and photos of damaged art and materials.
  3. Save original packaging! 
  4. You will be contacted to discuss next steps.


Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:   


  1. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.  
  2. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.    
  3. Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 



PAINTED HANDS™ PAINT PARTIES


Things come up and we understand so to receive a refund or cancel your paint party please make sure to contact us immediately. In most cases, we may be able to avoid a refund and reschedule to another date.


Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will incur a 30% fee. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you will lose the payment for event. The owner has the only right to be flexible here. We will do our best to accommodate our customers. When you book an event with us, you agree to these terms.


PAINTED HANDS™ LIVE EVENT PAINTING
